I just started a cake decorating business called Sugar Baby Cakes. This was my first full-size fondant cake. It was fun and stressfull. Max was practically neglected for a week because it took so long to make. When I left the cake, it almost felt like I was leaving my baby, knowing I would never see it again. Dramatic... I know. I've always been a drama queen:)

Holy cow, that is gorgeous! I'm curious though, if it takes a week to decorate, how is the cake not all stale and hard by the time you eat it? It was good to see you guys last week, by the way! Love ya!, Rachelle
The cake itself doesn't take a whole week, but the flowers that go on the outside and the process of making the fondant are what take so long. I don't put the whole cake together until the day of the wedding so it's always moist and delicious ;)
